ABOUT MYSELF

I spent the greater part of my first quarter century in Tonbridge, Kent where I went to school, grew up and had my children - both sons.
Whilst still a young wife and mother; I founded and ran the Tonbridge Housing Association; a project designed to give a supportive home base to eighteen year olds coming out of care and needing to learn how to become independent.

The greater part of my second quarter century was spent in Orkney where my children went to school, grew up and are now having children of their own.
Over the years I began to see how the way we live and interact and the very thoughts we think affect, not only our emotional equilibrium and mental stability but our physical health as well. In our touch deprived society massage was the therapy I was most strongly drawn to and after an intensive course at the Beaumont College in Eastbourne I passed the ITEC examination with Credit.

For my third quarter century (while my grandchildren in their turn are going to school and growing up) I will continue to learn about other therapies as my particular interest is to see how they complement each other in working together for the holistic health of all who come to us.
